Westlands, Kilimani Affected by 24-Hour Water Disruption in Nairobi

Nairobi Water plans a 24-hour supply interruption from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, to install new pipe connections near Kianda School along Waiyaki Way. The shutdown will affect Westlands, Riverside, Parklands, Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Lavington, Upper Hill, Kibera and Langata, as well as several hospitals, including Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi Hospital and Mbagathi Hospital. Residents in affected areas have been urged to use available water sparingly. The utility says the work is intended to improve supply reliability.
