‘What did she do to anyone?’ Families seek answers over Ekurhuleni women’s deaths

The families of Dineo Evelyn Motapane and Itumeleng Kekana are united in grief and a painful question: how did their loved ones end up dead? Motapane, 38, was found naked on the side of the road in KwaThema, while Kekana, 32, disappeared in Kempton Park before her body was discovered near the R21. Since July, nine women have been found dead across Ekurhuleni, and a multidisciplinary team is investigating these cases.
