What Palestinian children endure in Israeli detention

Fidaa Zalabani checks her son Mohammed's room every morning after he was arrested by Israeli forces at the age of 13 in February 2023. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison for allegedly stabbing a soldier, shortly after witnessing his friend's death. Fidaa has been unable to visit her son for two years and is concerned about his health, claiming that child detainees suffer from malnutrition and mistreatment at Megiddo Prison.
