What Will Make the Southwest Support an Igbo Presidency, According to Soludo

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo said the Southwest would support an Igbo presidency if the Southeast backs President Bola Tinubu’s second term. In a video addressing his followers, he said presidential power depends on discussion and agreement, and that power should return to the South after passing to the North. The Southeast has long sought the presidency; in 2023, Labour Party candidate Peter Obi came third and claimed he had been robbed of victory.
