What’s driven the defence deal between Israel and Greece?

Israel and Greece have signed a $3.5 billion arms deal, one of the largest in Israel's military history. The agreement will see Greece receive a multilayered air defense system to counter common threats. Increasing tensions between Greece and Turkey, ongoing for over fifty years, along with deteriorating relations between Israel and Turkey, are strengthening the alliance between Israel and Greece.
