Who is goalkeeper Owono and will he be punished after De Miguel’s death?

Tenerife forward Jesus de Miguel, 30, died in a Santa Cruz hospital on Tuesday morning after suffering cardiac arrest following a collision with Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono during Monday’s La Liga 2 match. Owono was shown a straight red card for the challenge and has faced criticism, while local police are reportedly investigating the incident. The 25-year-old goalkeeper was born in Bata, Equatorial Guinea, and moved to Spain’s Basque Country as a child. After developing at Alaves and joining Andorra, he has made 46 appearances for Equatorial Guinea.
