Why Fuel in Some Stations Is Cheaper Despite Uniform EPRA Pricing

EPRA sets a maximum fuel price, not a fixed one, allowing stations to sell below it. In Nairobi, the maximum is KSh214 per litre, but some stations charge KSh211 or KSh212 to attract more customers through competition. Stations with lower operational costs or bulk purchasing can pass on savings. Proximity to coastal depots also explains lower prices in Mombasa.
