Fire Service Controller-General Olumode Adeyemi explained that the length of his homecoming convoy was due to the presence of several senior officers, including Deputy Controllers-General and Assistant Controllers-General. Although the convoy drew reactions due to its size, the Service clarified that Adeyemi traveled with only his official vehicle and a pilot vehicle. The additional vehicles were for ensuring coordination and security at the high-profile event.
