With its price cuts, Dangote shakes up the Nigerian fuel market

Dangote refinery announced a wholesale price reduction for gasoline in Nigeria, from 1,250 to 1,175 naira per liter effective June 16, 2026. The cut follows easing tensions in the Middle East. Dangote, already exporting to several African markets, increases pressure on fuel importers.
