Cross River CP warns personnel against extorting motorists

The Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Ajo Geoffrey Ordue, warned police officers against demanding or collecting money from motorists during stop-and-search operations. This warning followed complaints of alleged extortion by some police personnel in Calabar. Ordue advised drivers to report any money demands and reminded police of the importance of professionalism and integrity in their duties.
