Wood sector: Sefeccam partners with Belgian LDCwood to produce ThermoWood fraké in Cameroon for export

The Cameroon Forestry and Commercial Exploitation Company (Sefeccam) has partnered with Belgian LDCwood and trader RTT Houtimport to install three industrial kilns in Douala. These kilns, supplied by Finnish manufacturer Jartek, will allow for the thermal modification of fraké, a Cameroonian tropical wood, before it is marketed under the brand SanghaWood. LDCwood will handle distribution to international markets.

RMAFC reopens oil, gas wells verification over 13% derivation disputes

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, has reopened the verification of disputed and newly drilled oil and gas wells across Nigeria to resolve controversies over the sharing of the 13 percent derivation fund among oil and gas-producing states.
