World Bank: Africa Attracts $22 Billion in Private Capital

The World Bank Group mobilized $112 billion in private capital in 2026, more than tripling the amount in four years. Africa particularly benefited from this increase, attracting $22 billion in private capital, a nearly 150% rise compared to 2022. Ajay Banga, the Group's president, emphasized that this evolution is due to changes aimed at simplifying procedures and promoting job creation in developing economies.
