The World Bank has approved a $500 million credit facility for Nigeria through the International Development Association (IDA) to support the AGROW project. This initiative aims to increase smallholder farmers' productivity, strengthen agricultural value chains, and create jobs. It will focus on aggregation, post-harvest handling, and market access for priority crops such as rice, maize, cassava, and soybeans.
