World Cup 2026: Congolese team cancels training camp in DRC amid Ebola outbreak

The football team of the Democratic Republic of Congo has canceled its planned training camp in Kinshasa due to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the country. The WHO has issued an international health alert regarding this 17th outbreak, which has already resulted in 139 deaths out of nearly 600 suspected cases. Although the team has trained in Europe, the camp was initially set to last three days in Kinshasa before being relocated to Belgium.
