World Cup 2026: Patrice Motsepe believes in the victory of an African country

CAF president Patrice Motsepe expressed his belief that an African nation will win the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. For the first time, ten African teams will participate in the final phase, a record, including Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, South Africa, Cape Verde, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Motsepe bases his optimism on recent performances of African teams, notably Morocco's semifinal run in the 2022 World Cup.
