The World Food Program (WFP) is providing food assistance to suspected and confirmed Ebola patients, as well as health workers, in Goma, North Kivu, DRC, funded by the US and other donors. Since May 31, WFP expanded its aid to Beni territory and Bukavu in South Kivu. The US Department of State has committed over $162 million to combat the outbreak, partnering with CDC and the governments of DRC and Uganda. An additional $350 million through OCHA pooled funds supports humanitarian efforts in DRC, South Sudan, and Uganda.
