World Physiotherapy Day in Adiaké: Regulation of the Sector at the Heart of Discussions

The city of Adiaké is celebrating World Physiotherapy Day from September 11 to 22, 2026, gathering over a hundred practitioners. Johnson Kouamé, president of the Association of Physiotherapists of Côte d'Ivoire, emphasized the need to regulate the profession through the establishment of a National Council of Physiotherapy. Minister Hien Yacouba Sie, represented by Tanon Tanon, expressed support for the association, which recently opened a physiotherapy service at the general hospital in Adiaké, providing free care to over 100 people.
