Xenophobia: South Africa should pay R1bn for each Nigerian killed, business destroyed – Group

Nigerians living in South Africa are calling for stronger measures against the country due to ongoing xenophobic attacks. Akaninyene Willie, President of the Akwa Ibom Indigenes Forum in South Africa, demanded reparations of at least one billion rand for every Nigerian killed and for Nigerian-owned businesses destroyed. He also urged the Federal Government to expedite the evacuation of stranded Nigerians from South Africa.
