Kenyan scholar Prof. Patrick Lumumba has called for stronger unity among African nations to end xenophobic violence, particularly attacks in South Africa targeting foreign nationals. Speaking at the 2026 Law Week of the Nigerian Bar Association in Yenagoa, he stressed the need for mental decolonisation and institutional strengthening. NDDC Managing Director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku also urged increased investment in education and value-based reorientation for national development.
