Yamal breaks Mbappé’s record as the Champions League’s highest-scoring teenager

Lamine Yamal set a new Champions League scoring record for a teenager with his 14th goal in the competition during Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa. The 19-year-old Spanish winger scored in the seventh minute, moving ahead of Kylian Mbappé, who had held the record with 13 goals. Yamal reached the milestone in 37 appearances, while Mbappé has scored 72 Champions League goals overall. Yamal has also recorded 13 goals and 11 assists in 15 appearances across all competitions this season.
