Yamal, Mbappe in El Clasico spotlight as 40 cameras dedicated to coverage

Up to 40 cameras will cover Sunday’s El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Camp Nou, with dedicated coverage of Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe. The production plan includes ultra-high-definition filming, slow-motion replays and individual player tracking. La Liga requires at least 22 cameras for Category A matches and 35 to 40 for A+ fixtures such as El Clasico. The expanded coverage follows controversy in Real Madrid’s match against Sevilla, when none of the 26 camera angles clearly showed a clash between Arda Guler and Peque Fernandez.
