Yemen fighting displaces 71,000 children, worsens malnutrition: UNICEF

Fighting in Yemen has displaced approximately 71,000 children over the past three weeks, mostly from Taiz. The conflict disrupts healthcare access, leading to a rise in acute malnutrition among children, with over a quarter of displaced children screened showing signs of malnutrition, including 200 in severe condition. Overall, 2.2 million children under five are projected to suffer from acute malnutrition this year, with more than half a million in severe cases. UNICEF verified that at least 15 children have been killed and 14 injured since early September.
