Yobe ADC denies mass defection to Wike-backed PDP faction

The chairman of the ADC in Yobe State, Umar Kalli Alhaji, denied reports of mass defections of its members to the PDP faction aligned with Nyesom Wike. Kalli described these claims as false and mischievous, stating that no such event occurred and that the PDP faction has no political structure in the state. He also suggested that the report aimed to attract political attention to the minister or extort money from him.
