Yobe begins stakeholders’ consultations on N437bn 2027 budget

The Yobe State Government has begun consultations with citizens and stakeholders to prepare the 2027 budget, proposing a fiscal plan of N437 billion. The one-day engagement at Damaturu Town Hall included traditional rulers, civil society organizations, development partners, and community groups to articulate their needs and aspirations. The Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning emphasized the importance of inclusive, transparent, and accountable budgeting in line with the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
