YY-20 Aircraft: China Demonstrates Its Expertise Against an Egyptian Rafale

A Chinese YY-20A tanker refueled an Egyptian Rafale during the joint exercise 'Eagles of Civilization 2026' in Egypt. This event marks a first between these two types of aircraft, showcasing interoperability between a Chinese aircraft and a French fighter. The exercise, which began in mid-August, also involves several other Chinese aircraft, including J-16s and Y-20s, focusing on air combat tactics and search and rescue missions.
