Mourinho must stop Barca machine as Clasico tensions resume

José Mourinho will lead Real Madrid in his first Clasico since returning to the club on Sunday, facing La Liga leaders Barcelona at Camp Nou. During his first spell in Madrid, he won the Spanish title in 2012 and intensified a rivalry marked by clashes with Pep Guardiola and his staff, including an incident in which he poked Tito Vilanova in the eye in 2011. Mourinho is now tasked with stopping Hansi Flick’s Barcelona, which has won six of the seven Clasicos since the German coach arrived, scoring 22 goals and conceding 11.
