ZAC Mbao: individual in custody for identity theft and sexual blackmail

A man was taken into custody on October 1, 2026, at the ZAC Mbao police station, suspected of digital identity theft, illicit collection of personal data, possession of immoral videos, and sexual blackmail. He allegedly contacted a victim online using a profile with a woman's photo named Angela, requesting intimate videos in exchange for 500,000 FCFA, then threatening to release the videos if she refused to have sex with a third party. During his arrest, sexual videos and obscene files were found on his phone, involving multiple victims, including one in France.
