Zamfara Tertiary Workers Threaten Industrial Action Over Unmet Demands

The Zamfara State Tertiary Institutions Forum (FOZASTI) has issued a two-week ultimatum to the government to address unresolved demands or face possible industrial action. The demands include implementing the CONPCASS and CONTEDISS salary scales, paying the Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA) and Earned Academic Allowance (EAA), and advancing staff promotions. FOZASTI emphasized the need for concrete steps and warned of potential strikes if issues remain unaddressed, while remaining open to dialogue.
