Illegal street vendors are undermining cleanup efforts in Harare's central business district, according to Delish Nguwaya, chairman of Geo Pomona, who spoke to the Climate Change Thematic Parliamentary Committee. Despite daily cleanup operations, unregulated vending activities continue to affect waste management and tarnish the city's image. Nguwaya urged for stronger enforcement of municipal bylaws to sustain cleanliness in the capital.
