Kenya Power's electricity sales grew by 1,389.42 Gigawatt-hours (GWh) to reach 12,792.42 GWh for the year ending June 2026, marking the sharpest rise in four years. This 12.2% increase from the previous year is attributed to rising demand and 411,710 new connections. Provisional data indicates that electricity demand continues to grow in Kenya.
