Trippier to leave Newcastle at end of season

Kieran Trippier, former England defender, announced that he will leave Newcastle at the end of the season when his contract expires. At 35 years old, he has made over 150 appearances for the Magpies since joining in January 2022. Trippier played a major role in Newcastle winning the League Cup last season, their first major trophy in 70 years, and helped the team qualify for the Champions League twice in the last three campaigns.
