Nepal rescuers blast hillside in search of hydropower workers as families wait anxiously

More than 600 workers are believed to be trapped in a network of tunnels along the Trishuli River in Nepal, as rescuers use explosives to try to reach them. The death toll from the floods at the Nepal-Tibet border has reached 939, with 3,925 people still missing. Nepalese Prime Minister Balendra Shah stated that 279 people have been rescued, while international teams are involved in the rescue operations.
