Mbvoum at Kondengui: Cameroon Holds a Man Without Charging Him

Parfait Mbvoum, president of the Front Républicain and a supporter of Issa Tchiroma Bakary in the 2025 presidential election, was arrested on October 24, 2025, in Nkolnda near Yaoundé. Transferred to Kondengui Central Prison on November 27, he remained there a year later, with his pretrial detention extended twice.
