Zamfara begins hiring of 3,050 primary school teachers

The Zamfara State government opened an online application portal to recruit 3,050 additional basic school teachers. Permanent Secretary Maryam Yahaya Shantali announced applications from July 2 to July 16, 2026. Applicants must be indigenes of Zamfara, aged 18-35, possess minimum teaching qualifications (NCE, B.Ed., etc.), a TRCN certificate, and an NYSC discharge/exemption certificate. Priority will be given to teachers in critical subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and Technology.
