10 Killed as Matatu Rams Stalled Trailer Along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway in Gilgil

At least ten people have been confirmed dead following a road accident involving a trailer and a 14-seater matatu at Kariandusi near Gilgil along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. The accident occurred on Friday night when a speeding matatu lost control and rammed into a stalled trailer. According to Gilgil Sub-County Police Commander Winston Mwakio, the impact of the collision was extensive, leading to the deaths of 10 occupants of the matatu at the scene.
