10,820 to graduate from UNICAL next week

The 12th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Prof. Offiong Offiong, announced that 10,820 students will graduate next week. Of these, 152 will receive diplomas, 9,173 will earn first degrees, and 1,495 will obtain postgraduate degrees. A gala night for Ph.D. graduates will be held on May 10, 2026, where honorary degrees will be conferred on notable individuals, including Governor Bassey Otu.
