Kano’s Singer Market to receive N1bn fire-fighting facilities after inferno

The Singer Market Development Association, in collaboration with Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, is constructing fire-fighting facilities and an office at the market valued at over N1 billion. Chairman Barrister Muhammad Junaidu Zakari stated that this project is a proactive measure to address recurring fire incidents. Over N200 million has been raised to assist victims of recent fires, with N10 million already distributed to some small-scale businesses.
