18-yr-old Gout Gout breaks Usain Bolt's 200m record

Eighteen-year-old Australian sprinter Gout Gout won the national 200m title in Sydney with an impressive time of 19.67 seconds, breaking Usain Bolt's record of 19.93 seconds set in 2004. This time also marks a new world under-20 record and the fastest time globally this year. Gout expressed his relief at having legally broken the 20-second barrier and announced he will skip the Commonwealth Games to focus on the World Under-20 Championships in August.
