Kwango Governor Willy Bitwisila has reshuffled the provincial government, with eight of its ten members newly appointed; women make up 10% of the team and young people 40%. The only ministers retained are Josée Lulengwa and Willy Masala, while provincial legislator Ignace Inkalaba becomes education minister and government spokesperson. The new team includes members of the CRD, ACR, UDPS and PALU, as well as independents. The reshuffle comes more than two years after the first team was announced in July 2024 and two months after Health Minister Apollinaire Yumba was dismissed.
