Troops neutralise five suspected Kaduna kidnappers during gun battle

Five suspected kidnappers were killed by troops in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State during an encounter shortly after midnight on September 21, 2026. The suspects, arrested on September 20, had confessed to involvement in various criminal activities and attempted to lead the troops to hideouts. During the gunfire exchange, no troops were injured, while other members of the criminal syndicate fled the scene.
