Candidacy for the UN: New Experienced Support for Macky Sall

During the launch of the fourth training cohort of the Liberal Academy, Cheikh Tidiane Gadio, former Senegalese Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed his support for Macky Sall's candidacy for the position of UN Secretary-General. He emphasized that the candidacy of an African represents a step forward for the continent and called for overcoming internal political differences to prioritize national interest. Gadio also encouraged Senegalese authorities to take a leadership role in this process.
