Ruto Moves PS Bitok to Tourism, Lekakeny to Education in New Reshuffle

President William Ruto has reshuffled two Principal Secretaries, moving Julius Bitok from Basic Education to Tourism and John Lekakeny Ololtuaa from Tourism to Basic Education, effective immediately. The Ministry of Education is under scrutiny amid unrest in secondary schools, with over 80 institutions closed. Bitok had previously attributed the unrest to exam-related anxiety and ruled out adjusting the school calendar.
