Hormuz attacks intensify as efforts to end war on Iran stall

Strikes around the Strait of Hormuz have increased as mediated efforts to end the US-Israel war on Iran remain deadlocked. The IRGC Navy reported an unnamed oil supertanker hit a naval mine and suffered a major fire while using an unauthorized route, warning of similar incidents for any tanker ignoring security rules. An Iranian military official stated that Iran's forces are prepared for both defensive and offensive actions, amid reports of multiple incidents including a tanker attack and a rescue operation by UAE authorities following a fire on a vessel.
