Sudan: Meeting the Guardians of the Ancient Pyramids of Meroë

Mostafa Ahmed Mostafa, 65, is the heir of a lineage of guardians of the Meroë pyramids in Sudan. Three years after the onset of war between the army and paramilitary forces, he stands watch over this UNESCO World Heritage site.
