2026 African MTB Championships: Women Lead Ivory Coast to African Top 5

Ivory Coast finished 5th at the 18th African Mountain Bike Championships, held on May 30-31, 2026 in Bingerville. Ivorian women Yabré Estelle (silver in XCO U23 women) and Todié Ornella (bronze in XCC and XCO junior women) won the team's three medals. Among men, Assé Ange Wilfred placed 4th in XCC juniors, while James Abekoua and Yacou Boris finished 10th and 11th in elites. Federation president Allah Kouamé praised the result for the nation's first participation.
