2026 Bac and BEPC in Francophone West Africa: Candidates, Rates and Results by Country

The 2026 exam session in Francophone West Africa ends with mixed results. In Côte d'Ivoire, the BEPC success rate is 52.17% (306,001 admitted out of 586,587 candidates) and the Bac rate is 40.60%, slightly up. Burkina Faso achieves a historic BEPC record of 54.06%, the best in 50 years, and a Bac rate of 61.54%. Benin and Togo show consistency, while Gabon underperforms.
