2027: ADC faction rejects Ibadan opposition summit

A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) distanced itself from the opposition summit held in Ibadan, where key figures agreed to field a single presidential candidate for the 2027 election. Kingsley Temitope Ogga, the national chairman of this faction, stated that he neither attended nor supported the meeting and emphasized the need to resolve internal party issues before pursuing external alliances. He warned that failing to manage internal disputes could weaken the party's credibility in the eyes of Nigerians.
