2027: Alia moves to reconcile APC stakeholders in Benue, invites Akume, others

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State convened a high-level reconciliation meeting of APC stakeholders, including Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Alia received Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms purchased by the Benue State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners and the Benue Motorcycle Owners Association. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party and expressed optimism that the reconciliation meeting would bring all factions together. The governor also stressed the need to support President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming election cycle.
