2027: 'Don't be deceived, free Nnamdi Kanu' - Ohanaeze tells Tinubu

The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, demanded the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, currently imprisoned in Sokoto for treason. During a meeting in Enugu, President General Chief Senator John Azuta-Mbata stated that Kanu's release is a prerequisite for any promises of Igbo votes. Ohanaeze also emphasized the importance of Igbo language and culture, announcing initiatives to promote the teaching of the Igbo language in universities and online.
