2027: Ex-NUJ Deputy National President, Onyike declares to contest for Reps seat

Chief Abia Onyike, a former Deputy National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat for the Afikpo/Edda federal constituency of Ebonyi State in the 2027 elections. He is running under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and plans to consult with stakeholders across the two local government areas to share his vision for development. Onyike expressed optimism that collective efforts would advance the development of the constituency.
